Louella Fernandes, CEO
Louella has an extraordinary breadth of understanding of the global market dynamic and the rapid changes the print and imaging industry is experiencing. Key areas of current research focus include the growing impact of the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape on the printing market; why smart multifunctional products (MFPs) should be better leveraged as intelligent, connected devices; digital transformation, Managed Print Services, workflow and collaboration, alongside emerging trends such as Augmented Reality and 3D printing.
Clive Longbottom, Contributing Analyst
He trained as a chemical engineer, worked on anti-cancer drugs, car catalysts and fuel cells before moving in to IT. Worked on many office automation projects, as well as COSHH, document management and knowledge management projects.
Clive became a consultant and then an IT industry analyst through META Group in the US (now part of Gartner). Then he left and set up Quocirca as a group of like-minded analysts who dig into what IT means to a business – not just whether it is ‘clever’ and a topic of the moment.
Clive deals well with C-level execs and can discuss many areas of business and how IT can be utilised to help meet changes in business processes and market dynamics.
Isabel Hopkins, Contributing Analyst
Isabel is a market research professional, who has worked across a range of industries and using a blend of methodologies during her twenty-year career. She was a Partner and Research Director at Illuminas LLP until 2019, where she worked primarily in complex sectors such as technology, finance and utlities for clients such as EE, BT, Royal Mail, Goldman Sachs and EDF Energy.
She now specialises in looking at how the digital and analogue worlds are converging and helping clients optimise their proposition in the context of competing demands, covering brand, pricing, sustainability, the economy and workforce dynamics. She has worked with Quocirca since 2021, supporting projects including The Future of Print, Zero Trust and Sustainability studies.
Outside of work she is dedicated to spending time by the sea in all seasons and participating in her local community in East London, especially in terms of social inclusion projects and supporting children living in poverty.
Helen Hopper, Media Relations
Henrietta Lacey-Gutsell, Sustainability Alliance Lead
Henrietta has dedicated the last three years to sustainability within technology. Previously, she was senior marketing director at NTT Group after four years working at NTT DATA Inc. where she led analyst relations and content marketing across EMEA.
A former analyst and market researcher, Henrietta brings 20 years of experience and a data-driven mindset to her work. She has a strong editorial foundation with experience working for companies ranging from small start-ups to large, multinational organisations. With an eye for a story and a desire to collaborate, Henrietta is a passionate believer in the value of alliances and their ability to generate creativity, strategic thinking, and a commitment to achieve shared goals.
As a Trustee Board Member, she spends time supporting two charities – one focused on the care of vulnerable young people and the other working to conserve the natural beauty of the South Downs.
Alison Penn, Operations Executive
At IBM, Alison held a variety of customer-facing and internal roles, including European and global positions. She developed deep expertise in project management, operations, business process improvement, and professional services. In her final role, she worked in product management, applying her practical mindset and extensive network to shape and deliver impactful service offerings.
Alison joined Quocirca in September 2025 in a flexible capacity as Operations Executive. She supports the CEO directly and contributes to podcast scheduling, quarterly reporting, and the creation of process documentation for internal activities.
Outside of work, Alison is a dedicated volunteer caseworker with SSAFA and other veteran organisations, providing hands-on support to those who have served. She is also a founding member of the Cyprus Veterans Information Portal, helping connect and inform the veteran community in Cyprus.
Lindsay Wilson, Research Executive
Lindsay is a business editor and proofreader based in Sheffield. She has worked in the analyst industry since 2008, specialising in IT, software, and sustainability. She has been with Quocirca since 2022, editing and proofreading reports and articles, formatting and compiling profiles for long reports, publishing reports and articles online, sharing reports with clients, and helping with client liaison.
In her time as an in-house and freelance editor, Lindsay has worked on corporate journals, annual reports, articles, internal communications, website copy, academic papers, and independent novels, as well as short communications such as emails, biographies, CVs, and press releases. She is familiar with the Oxford Style Manual, the Chicago Manual of Style, and the Associated Press Stylebook.
Outside of work, Lindsay is a home educator and hobby writer. She enjoys swimming, walking in the Peak District, travelling to the US to see family, and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
