Press Release
LONDON, UK — 2 July 2026: Quocirca, a global market intelligence and analyst firm specialising in the print and digital imaging sector, today announced the appointment of Mick Heys as Global Head of Advisory, effective 30 June, 2026.
Mick will report to Quocirca’s CEO and Chief Analyst, Louella Fernandes, and lead the operational and commercial development of Quocirca’s advisory practice as the firm enters its next chapter of growth across new services, adjacent markets, and international client engagement.
Mick joins Quocirca after a long career at IDC, where he was Vice President leading the European Future of Workplace & Imaging business and managing a multinational analyst team. With more than three decades of market analysis experience, he has served as a trusted advisor to nearly every major global print vendor. With a background rooted in high-impact alliance and product strategy, Mick’s appointment further strengthens Quocirca’s executive advisory offering.
Quocirca is recognised as a leading analyst firm for the print industry, with strong influence built through its respected vendor landscape reports. It has pioneered research in key emerging market areas and was the first to analyse the competitive global market landscape for Managed Print Services, followed by further industry-first studies covering print security, cloud print services, sustainability, and AI. Its advisory services combine independent research, qualitative industry insight, and close engagement with OEMs, ISVs, and channel partners to help clients understand market direction, assess the broader ecosystem, respond to technology trends, and differentiate in changing markets. The firm continues to expand its analysis into adjacent sectors that shape the wider workplace technology landscape.
The appointment also builds on the success of Quocirca’s media services, including respected podcast In the Spotlight with Quocirca, which has extended the firm’s role as a platform for executive commentary, market discussion, and thought leadership across the print and digital workplace community.
Louella Fernandes, CEO of Quocirca, commented:
”I am delighted to welcome Mick to the Quocirca team as Global Head of Advisory. His depth of experience, industry relationships, and understanding of the print, imaging, and future workplace markets will be invaluable as we continue to build on Quocirca’s differentiated position and expand our advisory capabilities. Mick will report to me as CEO, and I will continue to lead Quocirca’s overall strategy, vision, and direction as we enter our next chapter of growth across advisory, media services, adjacent sectors, and global client engagement. His appointment strengthens our ability to deliver market-leading insight, future-focused thought leadership, and high-value advisory support to our clients while staying true to the independent, disruptive approach that has set Quocirca apart.”
Mick Heys, newly appointed Global Head of Advisory, added:
”Quocirca has built a distinctive and influential position across the global print and digital workplace ecosystem by challenging traditional analyst models. I have long respected Louella’s vision, the strength of Quocirca’s future-focused thought leadership, and the firm’s ability to combine primary enterprise research with market-leading insight, innovative media reach, and practical guidance for clients. I am looking forward to building on Quocirca’s disruptive, differentiated approach to help clients anticipate change, identify opportunity, and strengthen its market position. I look forward to working with Louella and the team to expand our global advisory partnerships and support the next stage of Quocirca’s growth.”
The appointment comes as Quocirca continues to extend its research portfolio, grow its media presence, and expand into adjacent technology sectors.
